24H TO BECOME A CHANGE-MAKER IN SUSTAINABLE FINANCE
Since 2019, Open Geneva has organized its annual hackathon on Sustainable Finance, in the framework of the Building Bridges Week, with the support of Geneva’s leading financial institutions, the University of Geneva and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
This 24h hackathon gathers multidisciplinary teams to find practical solutions to concrete problems in the fields of sustainable finance, owned by financial companies, startups, international organizations and academic institutions.
This year marks the 6th edition of the hackathon,
taking place on October 11-12 in the SDG Solution Space in Geneva.
WHAT IS A HACKATHON?
Our hackathons are immersive 24-hour events focused on learning, co-creation, and harnessing collective intelligence.
Teams of participants from diverse backgrounds come together to tackle themed challenges. The combination of time constraints and team diversity fosters the emergence of innovative solutions.
At the event’s conclusion, each team presents the results of their collaborative efforts.
