The 2020 edition of the Open Geneva festival is postponed

Please be advised that due to recent health and regulatory developments related to the spread of the covid-19 virus, Open Geneva is unable to organise a number of key festival events

Thursday 20.02, Thomas and Julia were invited in the studios of Radio Lac, for the programme "Parlons Economie", co-created by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Geneva.

They were able to promote the Open Geneva 2020 festival, talk about the events on the programme and the open mindedness of the festival!

Pitch night!

On Thursday 6 February, in the RTS studios, some fifteen hackathon organisers came to record a video to present their event. They had 90 seconds to pitch their event and convince participants to sign up. These videos will soon be available on the Youtube channel Open Geneva 😉

February: Filming of the organisers' pitch
To help you promote your festival event, Open Geneva offers to record a one or two minute presentation video! This video will be used to communicate with your community and will be broadcasted on Open Geneva networks.

Open Geneva has developed an online form that allows each event organiser to register and manage their event information independently!
 

How does it work?
1. Create your personal account (email address, password)
Attention: it is possible that the confirmation email of your email address arrives in your spam
2. Submit your event (info, dates, location, photos...)
Attention: each event is managed by a single personal account
3. Once your event is submitted, modify your information as you wish (logo, description...)
4. If you register your event before 15 February, it will be published directly on the official festival programme from 17 February!

Present your event!

Now that your event is on the festival programme, it's time to prepare your communication materials! To make it easier for you, Open Geneva invites you to an evening of pitch shooting.
Prepare a 90-second pitch to present your event and we will record a short video! This video can be used to communicate on social networks and we will post it on Open Geneva's Youtube channel to share your event with the whole community!
